From my files, Thomas Jefferson Gabbert was born in
St. Clair, Illinois, a son of William Gabbert and
Rebecca Wade. His wife, Susan L. Bracken, was born
in December of 1852 in Missouri (1900 Census), a
daughter of William and Harriet Bracken.

William Gabbert was born 26Jan1814 either in Kentucky
or in Indiana. He died 16Oct1863 in Benton Co.,
Arkansas, killed in the Civil War.
The children of William and Rebecca were:
Eliza Ann, Malinda, John, Peter, Thomas Jefferson,
Sarah Ellen, Mary Jane, Martha Emeline, William M.,
and Eliga T.

William was a son of Thomas Gabbert and Mary "Polly"
Depauw and Thomas was a son of George and Anne Reed
Gabbert.
