Hey folks. It is way cool to see this geneology info here and that I have info on my extended family. My father was Charles (Chuck), my grandfather was Herbert (Herb). My dad was named after one of his uncles or great uncles. My grandfather Herbert worked the family farm in Leeds (or close by the family farm) until some point when he moved to Poynette on Kent Road just west of the old caning company. I have some info on paper regarding lineage back to our Patriarch Grandpa Gustav from Stolp that was compiled for my Aunt Ann Lanzendorf (of Waunakee). Apparently the emigration took place in the 1850's? And, now I learn that he was from Prussia. That make lots of sense since many nationalist German/Prussians were escaping the persecution of I think the Austrian Empire. Something about a failed revelution against the conquring power? Any way, very interesting stuff. If anyone has futher information or corrections to my knowledge please feel free to pass it on. Ritchie
