Thanks for your reply. My gg greatgrandfather (son of the George Gabbitas born 1800/1801) was also George Gabbitas born Milton 1831. He had several siblings including James born West Markham 1835, John born West Markham 1833. I'm not sure if this is the same family as yours. George 1831 married Charlotte and lived in Worksop from the 1860's first living in Aston cum Aughton, Yorks for a while in the 1850's. All descendents from 1860's in Worksop.
