Read your mini history of the Liverpool side of your family. I live in California now, but was born in Liverpool and my grandfather was a Liverpool Gabler who was an accountant. Not sure of his first name though. He had two sons, Ed (my father, who worked on airplanes at the Roots factory) and another who might have been George (he died in a motorcycle accident near Speke in the thirties). Other Gabler Aunts and Uncles lived in Southport, Criccieth and the Isle of Man. Does any of this sound familiar?
