My GGGM was Rhoda M. Gadberry. The problem is I don't know if my GGM is a Shipp or a Cook. Her name was Georgia Shipp. She was born in 1866 two years before Rhoda and Jesse Shipp were married. I just found out a couple of days ago that she was Rhoda's daughter. I had thought she was the daughter of Jesse and his first wife, Elizabeth. I have a cousin in AR that is 80 something and he told me that she was definately a Gadberry. He said that someone had teased Rhoda's youngest son, Johnson Shipp, that Georgia acted like a Cook. It had upset him. Do you think you could help me in this. Did Ishum died and she remarry or did they get divorced? Also what years? I had looked into the Gadberry line before and had found out when Georgia was born. I had found someones line on familytreemaker that had took the line back to England to a Gadberry (he was a servant) whose son had married the daughter of the house. I do not know how correct it is. Georgia's death cert. has Rhoda and Jesse as her parnets. Which child of Rhoda's and Ishum are you from. Looking forward to hearing from you.
