Dear Valerie, I cannot thank you enough for your help. I only have limited resources such as the IGI and Free BDM. This is great news as I could not find Elizabeth Peckett (Picket anywhere on the IGI and did not find a marriage so you have given me a marriage date and a Place for my file. It also clears up the question of why two of the children had Peckett as a second name. On your census for 1851 for Whitby. I see you have a william Gale (Gales) aged 8. My William Henry would have been 11 or 12 the other Williams parents were Mathhew and Hannah, can you confirm this. I do not have an Elizabeth that would have been 12 and William Henry as above would have been 11. The children of William Gales and Elizabeth Peckett. William Henry 1839 Margaret 1841 On your Census aged 10 Jane Elizabeth 1843 On your Census aged 8 Elizabeth 1844 John Peckett 1846 Mary 1847 Mary and Elizabeth Peckett Twins 1849 Catherine 1852
