Hi, George. Thanks so much for your generous offer! The earliest Gallion that I have been able to find so far is James (unknown dates of birth and/or death). His parents were from Maryland, he was a teacher who rode a circuit route. His wife was Anna Wagers, b. unk; died c1840; she was the daughter of William Wagers and Nancy (?), both born in Maryland. James and Anna had two children: Garfield (also called Thomas) -- have no information on him other than it was believed that he lived in Kansas; William James, b. 1839, d. 1902 after being kicked by a horse. Williams' mother died when he was very young and he was raised by his Wagers grandparents. The Gallions and the Wagers came to Ohio from Maryland, living in the Holmes/Coshocton County area. William married Jane Lanham, daughter of Moses Isiah and Margaret (Croskey) Lanham. Some of my facts were obtained from a rather suspect source, and would very much like to find out if they are correct, plus anything and everything else about the family I can find. My daughters' father was a Gallion and I am trying to put together a complete genealogy for them. Thanks for any help you can give me, and thanks again. Cheryl Blizzard
