Jan,

I know that this is a long shot, but do you have an Elizabeth GAMMON(S), born about 1830 in East Tennessee who married before 1850 possibly in Kentucky or Missouri to a Joel Jackson NICHOLS? This Elizabeth GAMMON(S) died in Missouri or Kansas between 1860 and 1869.

We have not been able to find her with her parents, nor a marriage record, nor a cemetery record. Only the 2 census records in 1850 and 1860 in Missouri.

Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated, and of course, I would love to share any information I have with interested persons.
