In Memory of Jane Gay Gallen

Aged 78
I think this is one of the saddest stones in Cathcart Cemetery - the inscription is right at the top and the rest of the stone is left blank in expectation of other names. I was thinking perhaps the rest of her family emigrated and so I decided to post her here in the hope that someone might be related.
I checked Scotlands people and there is a death certificate which I haven't looked at but it indicates that Gay is definitely her maiden name and Gallen would be her married name. However I can't find a marriage record so she might not have been married in Scotland.
