The testing results will always depend on the quality of the lab used. Some are outstanding,affiliated with reputable scientific groups; some are "DNA Mills" interested only in your $$.
There will also always be those who can find their own 'experts' to support or refute evidence. They abound in Court cases.
(According to the article) The Brits are trying to sort out those claiming they are part of the brutalized, huddled masses of the world. Or, those applicants who want to join their relatives. Lots of lies and scams abound. Even the DHS has noticed it and taken steps to stop the fraud.
Not exactly like those of us who want to see if our DNA markers match someone else back 15 Generations.
