This problem is only evident if you are using Windows Vista. The workaround is to set the destination of your report to be RTF, open the RTF file in your word processor outside of Generations and print from there.
It is possible to change the output destination to c:\Program Files\Generations\Reports by amending the g8pref.dat file using a Hex editor (not a text editor), but that is advanced stuff and should only be tackled with extreme care by an expert.
