Converting older Generations file to GEDCOM

Hello all,

My computer crashed so I lost my installation of an older version of Generations and unfortunately I don't have the install disk any longer. Luckily, I still have a backup of the file.

BUT I bought a new copy of Family Tree but I can't import this type of file. So I'm hoping to either purchase an older used copy of generations so I can try to convert it to GEDCOM file or come up with another solution...

Does anyone have any ideas of where I can go from here?
