Hello all. I am trying to assist a relative (by email) who uses Generations software. She wants to Export a GEDCOM file (not a .uds file) from her Generations program.
I don't use Generations nor have I seen it, and I'm not certain of the version she uses. Is there a general series of steps that I could advise her to follow, to Export a GEDCOM from Generations?
Is is anything like this:
With Generations open, under the File menu, select Export File.
Then select either Entire File or Select Individuals.
Then (depending on what she selects) under Save as Type, select .ged (or GEDCOM).
Then press Save.
Thank you, I'm just trying to walk her thru the Export process without knowing exactly what she is seeing.
