Which David Gentry. I don't track that. I am not sure if I have kept the record, but I had an early Greene Co., Georgia Gentry will, before 1840's perhaps. This man also mentioned French Haggard which definitely came out of Louisa Co., Va. I have begun to downsize except for just what is husband's line (which went to Madison Co., Ky.--the Bright Berry line is husband's)...I am not sure if I shredded the old record or not but will look when I have time to take a long search.

Since Georgia was a land lottery state, I'd track the Gentry line in Ga. that way-from earliest lotteries on back.
Campbell Co. was a gold lottery draw, so you likely can go back from the Campbell Co. land. I live in Georgia, and know this is so feasible if you take the time. It isn't my children's descent, though
