Hullo,
My great Grandfather, August Christian Giese, emigrated`to
Australia in the 1880's. He came on a vessel named Peter
Godefroy. He was born in Hamburg in 1854 and settled in
Zillmere in Queensland, near Brisbane. He moved to Redfern in Sydney, then to Canterbury. He is buried at Rookwood
cemetery. I reveal this data in case you have co-incidences that draw a parallel. His wife was from Holstein.
