My family lived in Coosa in the 1800's. I was wanting to know if your Girdner line was related to the Perkins family in some way and the surname Thickwit? I have a Girdner family on the 1870 census of Coosa with two Thickwits with them. My Perkins ancestor was from KY as were the Girdners.
