Hi,
From what I have been told all of the Gitlin's came originally from Russia, during world war two the town was destroyed but numerous Gitlin's had already come to the US 1880-1912. I DO NOT KNOW OF YOU DAUGHTERS SPECIFICS BUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME, as I may be able to add some info or atleast help to track them down.
