I'm researching the early families of my hometown of Colton, San Bernardino County, California. Sylvester (b. 1854 NY)and Margaret Lee Goddard, were very prominent in Colton's early days. Other than the newspaper accounts I have been unable to find family information on this branch of the Goddard family. A Biography lists their only child, Bessie. In 1910 they are living with her (b. Apr 1876 IL) and her husband, George E. Burrell (b. Sept 1864 Wisconsin)There is no information on this branch of the Burrell family. The third family - that of Margaret Lee (b. May 1855 IL; par b. ENG/Wales), daughter of James Lee, owner of an extensive business in early Colton, is also missing from RootsWeb. Would appreciate anything anyone knows on any of these families. Thank you!
