I have some information for you. According to the Greenbrier County Marriages 1782 - 1900 volume 1, Samuel Goddard and Amanda Puckett were married Nov 30, 1858. Samuel was listed as single, age 21, born Greenbrier County, son of John and Lavinia Goddard. Amanda was listed as single, age 19, born Greenbrier County, daughter of Crawford and Sarah Puckett. John Goddard is the brother of my great great grandfather. I am having trouble finding information on his parents, although I do know they are listed as John and Barbara Goddard on the marriage record of my great, great grandfather.
