Hi: I am researching the Godard (Goddard) family of primarily Monroe County, Ga. I have found record of an ancestor in Pike County, Ga. The 1850 census lists Frederick Goddard (b.1820) and his wife Elizabeth A. Thornton (b.1826) living in the household of Wiley and Susan Thornton.
