Have you checked The Guildhall Library, London, for his will? (perhaps also the London Metropolitan Archives & Berks Record office).

There is the following listed on the internet but I am not sure if it is a reference to his will or another document relating to him.

"JESUS HOSPITAL, Bray, Berkshire. Established by letters patent in 1616 from property (in Bray and the City of London) left by William Goddard in 1607. His will stipulated 40 almspeople, 6 to be aged Fishmongers. Circa 1609-1878. Ms 5836- "

Also, he should have had a Grant of arms made to him by the Royal College of Arms if he was not an eldest son. This might be worth checking also.
