"Abstracts of Virginia's Northern Neck Warrants and Surveys, Frederick Co., Va. 1747-1780" by Joiner;
p60 "JOHN FUNKHOUSER, 17 Feb. 1752-1 May 1752; 294 a. adj. his late survey to include part of his improvements, Jacob Funkhouser, Philip Goodbread land (not surveyed). CC - Barnard Silver, Lewis Goodbread, Junr, Jacob Funkhouser, Junr, Abraham Miller. Surv. Robert Rutherford."

I meant to get the original records but never got around to it. Based on some other surveys on the same page, the above property may have been on Funks Mill Run, a branch of North River of Shenandoah. On the same page, are surveys for Joseph Funk, Christian Funkhouser (in Augusta Co.,
Va), Jacob Funkhouser, and two more for John Funkhouser. My guess is that the Lewis Goodbread Junr is Ludwig Goodbread Junr.
Same reference;
p 75 "JACOB HOCKMAN, JUNR, assignee of Simon Dehart/Deheart of Augusta Co,; 17 Feb. 1752 - 23 Apr. 1752; 230 a. E. side North R. of Shannandoah; adj. Thomas Palmer. CC - Adam Funk, Philip Goodbread (Goodhead ? ) & Jacob Miller. Surv. Robert Rutherford."

"Orange Co. Records Vol 1" by Bennett p48
"Goodbread, Philip Entry 12 Dec 1761
700 acres on Back Cr. waters of Haw R. includes his improvements. signed with a mark."

The above reference is for Orange Co., NC
