John GoodbrAd Mobile, Alabama in the mid to late 1800s

Interested in connecting with anyone that is familiar with the John and Margaret Knowles Goodbrad (note the variant spelling) family located in Mobile, AL in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 census. John died in 1894 and Margaret after 1910. John and Margaret went on to have 8 or 9 children of which most married and had children. Most of the family remained in the Mobile area, or some have remained in the south. I do not believe anyone from this line remains in Mobile. Some may be in Memphis, TN.

I am related to John's half brother Captain Thomas Frank. Their mother was Margaret (Unknown) Goodbrad Frank, born in Germany who died in Mobile in 1870. John was born in Frankfort, Germany and Tom born in Maryland, died in 1888.
