I have a newspaper artical of a 50th Wedding Anniversary for Mr.& Mrs.M.W.Gossard. The celebration took place Sept.1, 1931 in St.Paul Minn. Mr. Gossard's parents were William M. and Sarah J."Ely" Gossard. M.W. Gossard was the youngest of 9 children, he was born at Marietta, Ind., March 3 or 31, 1856. One of his sisters was my g-grandmother, Alice "Gossard" Brown.
M.W's children were Mrs.Cecil Browniee, Miss Genevieve Gossard, Charles A.Gossard, A.C.Gossard and one grandson F.T.Browniee.
William and Sarah moved their family to Story County,Iowa in 1858.
M.W. married at Nevada,Iowa Sept. 1, 1881 and lived in Story Co. Iowa until 1895.
M.W.'s sister Alice Gossard was born Nov.28,1853 in OHIO. Married William Brown May 28, 1876 in Cambridge Iowa.
Can you help me with this family?
