I too am descended from John Adam GOSSER and Catherine BOLLMAN of Westmoreland County, Pa. I have documentation of the children of Johann Jacob GASSERT/GOSSER and Maria Margaret SPANGLER of what is now Lebanon County Pa. There were several men named Jacob Gosser in this area who also attended Tulpehocken Church at the same time. Several other researchers have incorrectly indicated that their ancestor was married to Maria Maria Margaret. I have the original land warrant dated 1785 and the deed from the sale of the same property in 1801 that states the names of his children and their spouses. I also have church records with baptism dates and some marriage dates.
You mention your grandmother, would she have been Martha Stevenson. If so, it would have been she who put my daughter and I on the track to look in the Myerstown area in 1979. My daughter started this as a high school project and I picked it up later.
