Looking for info re:Samuel J. Gossard & descendatns, b.1821 OH; was M.E. minister. Second husband of my gg-grandmother, Phoebe Pugh (first husband Samuel Allen d.1847). Sam'l Gossard & Phoebe had 2 children, O. Gossard,b.1855 OH & Chas.Gossard, b.1857 IA. Family left OH 1856 for Nevada, Story Cty IA. Chas. became doctor, moved to Madison, NE. Lots of Gossards in 1860 Story Cty IA census incl. Sam'l W. Gossard b.Ross Cty, OH. I assume all are related. Thanks.
