As I have worked on my Darter/Tarter family connections, I acccumulated information on the family of John Peter Gosser and Elizabeth Dishon and on some of the families which connect to John Peter Gosser.
Some of those families which connect to John Peter Gosser are the Chumbley, Combest, Eastham, Garner, Hammond(s), Molen, Norfleet, Rexroat, Robinson, Roy, Scales, Tarter, Tucker, Weddle and Wilson families .... among others.
The descendants of John Peter were in VA., then into the Adair, Barren, Casey, Pulaski and Russell counties of Kentucky.....then on into Indiana, Texas and parts west from there.
The files are just a beginning, and I have not verified all of the information so I cannot vouch for their accuracy.
As with all information on the net { especially genealogy }, this should be used as a guide on where and in what time frame to search in order to find the information you need for your family.
