Hello,
I am living in Israel, and I am the son of Hersh Gottfried, who was born in Gora -Kalvaria, Poland, in 1914 son of Abrham Gottfried who was a blacksmith in Gora Kalvaria.
Unfortunately I do not have any additional details on my father's family. He has passed away 3 years ago and I am his only son. He emigrated to Israel in 1936, before the 2nd world war, and during the war he lost contact with his family and never heard anything more untill his death. All these years he always persumed that he was the only one who remained alive from his all family (I think he had two sisters and one brother).
If any of you know anything that could help me either locate any remaining family members or knowa anything about the fate of the Gottfried family from Gora-Kalvaria, I'll be obliged.
