Looking for information on Thomas Gowman, born in Portsea, Hamphshire UK in either 1827 or 1829 and emigrated to the US. They lived in the Saratogy Springs NY area before moving to Butler county Iowa. His father was also named Thomas Gowman. His mother was Elizabeth Newman.
