Hi David,
I am John Gozzard from Australia. My GGG grandfather was Edward Gozzard of Handsworth and Aston Birmingham. He married Lucy Price of of Worster at Kidderminster in 1833. Edward and His son Henry (my gg grandfather came to Australia in 1854 to work at the Sydney Mint. Edward returned to the UK and Henry remained in Australia. I have been researching the Birmingham Gozzards for years and have stacks of info. I am a regular visitor to the UK and will be there again in 2002. I always like to follow up any new leads when I am there. I have traced aand visited some Birmingham Gozzard relatives. They are Alf Gozzard of Great Barr and Derek Gozzard now of Weston-Super-mare.
