Hi Nick
I was born 4 miles from Edwinstowe in Nottinghamshire and know the place very well. My father James albert Gozzard hailed from Edwinstowe but his father and grandfather were born in Staffordshire. I can't find any records of Ernest Gozzard but I will ask my mother who still lives in Nottinghamshire about them. I'll get back to you.
