Gozzard Family Genealogy Forum

Hello Linda. I have looked back through my file on my Gozzard family tree and find that I have print outs of your side of the family on the 1881 and 1901 census returns. I had kept them as I thought they might turn out to be connected, so I can now add Henry and Clara his wife to the tree. Incidentally my great grandparents Thomas and Annie Elizabeth (Gozzard) Barraclough named their first child Clara so she may have been named after your Clara. They also had a daughter Elizabeth who I think died in her twenties and my Grandfather, John Edwin Barraclough b1882 d1967 . He married my Grandmother Elizabeth Edmondson in 1910 and they had three daughters - my mother Winifred born 1911 (now aged 91), Evelyn b1916 d1995 and Constance b1921. Constance had a twin Betty who died as an infant. Evelyn never married or had children but I am the only child of Winifred and have two children in their twenties, James and Ruth and Constance has one daughter, my cousin June who has one son David. And that's it so far! Any more information you can let me have to go further back from the two brothers would be great and hope the above enables you to pad out your tree a little. I see from other messages you have posted previously that you have some ancestors who went to the States. Did you manage to find anything further about them? Now that I know that my John and Mary Gozzard had thirteen children I will try to find out more. My cousin June is also very interested in geneology and has done a lot of research on our Grandmother's tree - Edmondsons and Landreths - and has got right back to the 1750's with them. I look forward to any information you can give me.
