Apologies for the really long delay in replying....I was going through my Pc and saw the link to this site and decided to look at it again...and saw your message.
Well, re Edwinstowe, my mother, Jacqueline Davies Gozzard and her brother John Gozzard were born and raised there by their father Ernest Gilbert Gozzard and their mother, whose name I don't know. They moved to the village of Warsop when the children were young - my mother still lives there.
It would seem there must be some sort of 4th-cousin-twice-removed connection here!
