I'm afraid I don't have very much information. Susan Grabham and Frederick Pyne married in the June quarter of 1898 in the Wellington registration district. The birth of a Susan Grabham was registered in that district in 1873 and Susan was quite a rare name at the time at the time so the identification is probably correct, but needs to be confirmed.

There is a 9 year old Susan Grabhan born in Wellington on the 1881 census index. She is living with Anne Green who is a married woman aged 53 who is shown as her mother. I can't find a marriage of an Anne Grabham and a unknown Green between 1873 and 1881, but my notes are not yet complete on cross references. There is no suitable Susan Grabham on the 1891 census index yet.

In order to identifiy Susan's father I think you need to get her marriage certificate. I have quite a lot of information on Grabhams in the Wellington area so please do me contact me again if you can identify him (or if you discover that her mother was a Grabham).

Regards
