Thanks for the info!! Frances Green/Nancy F. Green's daughter Effie Jane Boyd, b. 1860, was married to my GGgrandfather James Alexander Green, b. 28 June 1855 in NC, d. 28 Sep 1932 NC. James was the son of Mastin Green, b. abt. 1812. Mastin was son of Joel Green, b. abt. 1770, d. 1863. Joel was the son of William Green b. 1818.

Effie Jane Boyd's mother's maiden name was also Green. I just wondered if there was a connection, although Green is a very common name and there are many in NC.
