Dear fellow Greene relatives and genealogists:

Like most of us here, I am searching for lost and unknown relitives. My mother was Jessie Virginia Greene b. 1925 d.1995 she was the daughter of William Thomas Greene b. 1899 d. 1983. He was married to Naria Lea Nantz b. 1906 d. 1974. William Thomas parents were Charles Napoleon Greene b. 10 May 1877 d. 27 May 1955. He was married to Mary Smith b. 8 April 1880 d. 28 Nov. 1941. To the best of my knowledge these people resided in the general environs bordered by Charlotte, NC to Spartanburg to Greenville to Columbia to Kershaw to Lancaster, SC. Again, that is a general locale and some tolerance is certianly a rule. Those are the names of places that are in my memory. William Thomas Greene had, I believe four siblings, Lawrence, Deaver, Frank and Preston. I have no dates or other information on any of them other than vague memories. Any help on any of these individuals would be greatly appreciated; getting beyond Charles Napoleon is a brick wall and is if they disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Interestingly enough my mother told stories of being afraid her great grandfather Smith. Embaracing as it is, he most likely was a member of the KKK and the traping of his life were frightening to her. Please help if you can. Thank you T. E. Schronce Jr.
