"Golden Wedding Celebrated--AMOS GREENFIELD and wife rounded out 50 years of wedded life on 23 of April. and the occasion was celebrated by old neighbors from the town of La Grange at the home of MRS.ETHEL FIETING. Owing to heavy rian many were prevented from coming who would have been glad to join in the testimonial to their old friends and neighbors. MR.& MRS GREENFIELD were married at their childhood home in ERIE COUNTY,PA in 1846. Eight years later they came to Wisconsin and were among the earliest pioneers in this section settling at once on the farm in La Grange(Monroe County,WI) which has been their home ever since, until they moved to the city a few years ago. The esteem in which they are held grows with the years of their long residence in our midst and it is the wish of all their wide circle of friends that the may be spared to see yet many returns on their wedding anniversary."(Source,"The Tomah Journal -May 2, 1896) This does not mention the wife's given name nor if they had children and all data is from the newspaper) Not related-Ann
