I posted to the Gregson forum last month, but haven't received any responses yet. Since then, I have discovered more information about my great grandmother and her family. I hope someone out there has more information to share with me & my siblings.
My great grandmother, Millie, was born to parents William & ?? Gregson. She had two sisters, Ruth Gregson (who I don't think every married) and Bessie Gregson (who did get married, name unknown) She also had a brother, William Gregson. My Great grandmother Millie married Charles P. Mason and moved to Maine with him. (date unknown.)
My great, great grandfather William Gregson was born in Whitton near Blackburn England. (DOB probably 9-26-1855) Not sure when or why, but he imigrated to Rhode Island. He worked for Manville Mill, we think as a manager or perhaps owner. He is buried in Oakgrove Cemetary. in Fall River.
Any further information would be very much appreciated. Can't wait to solve all this mystery, with your help. Thanks very much.
