DEATH AND OBITUARY NOTICES FROM THE SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN ADVOCATE 1867-1878
Issue of October 15, 1873
John Grierson was born in Charleston, S. C., August 14, 1831 and died in Jacksonville, Fla., September 30, 1873. He was married in April 1861 to Miss Fannie Brown, and through her persuasion he was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church a short time after their removal to Florida. He leaves a widow and several children.
