Yes I did know Revells Hall was in Bengeo.
My Father lived there during the 1920s/1930s and went to school in Hoddeston.
His Grandfather Capt Brooke Southwell Greville Kings Messenger owned the House from approx 1913.
It would be of great interest to find out more of his residence and when he left,certainly photos of the house would be welcome.
My Great Nanny got killed in the area while crossing the road,probably near the house.
Stories of the Ghost was always told to me ,she use to stand at the top of the great stairs overlooking the driveway use to scare the pants off my father.
