I'm putting together a list of descendants of James Arthur Mintz and Mary Emma Grissett of Grissettown, Brunswick Co, NC. Please contact me if you are of this line. I'm new to this list. I notice a previous conversation about where the Grissett's of NC came from. I don't have the book in front of me, but the National Genealogical Society did an article in the 1970's about the Grissett's. I'll find it and re-post. The original Grissett brothers were French Huguenots and came to New Amsterdam (New York) very early. The William Grissett who obtained the land grant in NC from King George was one of the brothers.
