Searching for information on Peter Magnus GUNSTREAM (b 8 Nov 1816 Sweden; d Mar 1882 Wood Co. TX) married 1st Mary Alitia DAVIS (1826-1862) abt 1841 in prb Catahoula Co. LA. They had 8 children: Gusavus Adolphus (1843 md BURFORD), Belinda B. (1846-1916 md WOOD), William D. (b 1848), Andrew F. (b 1851), Lemuel E. (b 1853), Mary C. (b 1855), Peter (b 1858), and Alfred Jerome (1862-1940 md ROGERS, HILL, & Lena --?--). Peter married 2nd Mary Jane ROGERS (d 1873) abt 1864. They had 4 children: Oscar Derymus (b 1868 md GOUGH), Amos (b 1869), Theodosie Elizabeth, and Mary Rosy (b 1872). Peter married 3rd Ellen "Ellender" BAGBY WINKLE (1837-aft May 1888) bet 1873 and 1880. This is not my direct line. Ellen BAGBY WINKLE GUNSTREAM is a sister to my direct ancestor, but I find this GUNSTREAM family interesting and would like to learn more about them.
