I received some old papers from my grandmother who was married to Jack William Gunstream (DOB 12/14/1917) whom she divorced in 1955. In these papers I found a copy of the March 9, 1841 affidavit for U.S. citizenship for Peter Magnus Gunstream (DOB Nov. 9, 1816, born in the District of Linsland, in the Parish of Bejores, near the town of Yonkoing, in the Kingdom of Sweden). I am assuming Peter Magnus Gunstream is the grandfather of my grandfather Jack William Gustream, thus my great great grandfather. I know my great grandfather was Jesse B. Gunstream, Sr. who and he also had another son Jesse B. Gunstream, Jr. Looking to confirm connection.
