I have no idea what Northumberland you're referring to, but I'm desperate to find info on =my= great great grandfather, so I'll bite: I have a William Haas who enlisted in the army for the Civil War in 1862, recruited in either Northampton County or Plainfield, PA; he was married to an Elizabeth Hauer or Harrer, and their son Tilghman Haas was born in 1860. I have no information on William's date or place of birth, date or place of marriage, residence, or date or place of death or burial; nothing except confirmed military history. Haas info is pretty sparse on the LDS site.
If any of this sounds right to you, please post! :) Thanks!
