Seeking any information on the Haas families found in middle TN ca 1800-1860 and MS 1830-1900. John Haas (b) 1810 TN moved to Monroe Co MS ca 1839 perhaps with Tubbs family. Known children of John Haas (pronounced Hass) & unknown 1st wife - perhaps Mary Ann, perhaps Lucy all children born MS:
Elizabeth F Haas (b) ca 1839; Martha Ann Haas (b) ca 1842 (m) John F Thompson 24 Apr 1859 in Itawamba Co MS; William S Haas (b) ca 1843; James O Haas (b) 25 Sep 1845 (m) Mary Looney 1 Jan 1868 in Lee Co MS; John F Haas (b) 23 Mar 1849 (m) Cecilia Amanda Gibson 24 Dec 1873 (family moved to AR and then OK)
