There is some information about my ancestor, Peter Haas, of Berks County, PA. However, his reported birth date seems to be incorrect. According to the Hill Union (Lutheran & Reformed) church Baptismal Records 1799-1892, Peter Haas , son of Fred & Cath was baptized 9-22-1801. His sponsors were Jacob Schwable and wife Eva. Most information that I have seen report Peter's birth as that same date, i.e. 9-22-1801, which is unlikely. I would like to hear from anyone with any information about Peter's parents, Frederick & Catherine.
