Am interested in the docs you have pertaining to Jacob Haas from Huron County, Ohio -- 1865. My grandmother's maiden name was Haas and her father, John Matthew Haas and his wife Louise Pfeil, owned property in Norwalk, OH (Huron County) in the early 1900s. I understand his grandfather was either John or Jacob Haas and that his grandmother's name might have been Bertha ?Isenhouser?. His parents, my great great grandparents were Martin M. Haas and Mary Magdeline Platten. Many of my Haas ancestors have had ties to Norwalk over the years.
