Hi, I am researching the Haas line and have just recently found information with respect to a Henry Haas. Maybe connected?

Have one Anton Haas born Dec 14 1799 in Germany. He had following children (not in any specific order) :

Ferndinand - graduate of Heidelburg and a lawyer.

Henry - a wealthy vineyard man at Mainz on the Rhine

George - ? died in Indianapolis

Edward C. - my great great great grandfather, who immigrated in 1842 at the age of 14-17 (conflicting stories) into NewYork. Made his way eventually to Terre Haute Indiana about 1845 where he started a grocery, winery and eventually a nursery business. Died in 1919 at 89 or 90 years of age.

Anna - know nothing about this daughter

Lena or Lessa - know nothing about her either.

Also might have been one other son of Anton, named Carl, or one of the sons listed above might have gone by the name of Carl. Possible a middle name "knick name"??

I have responded to you, for the fact alot of the first names you mention occurred in my line.

Hope that helps. Let me know
