Hi- My name is Paul McLeod, I'm from Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin, and I'm on the planning committee for a Historical Society exhibit on a local colorful character named Charlie "Barefoot Charlie" Haase who ran a popular Tavern/museum/restaurant just south of town between the mid 1930s and the 1960s. Our museum has a modest collection of photos and post cards which we plan to incorporate into the exhibit, but we would really be interested in more biographical info about the man. Thats why I'm posting this here, in hopes that one of his decendants might be able to help us out on the facts of his life, and/or may even have other artifacts that might be lent to the museum for the exhibit.
