Michael Hackett(born about 1816 in Ireland)is my great-great grandfather. He was working in Isle of Man in 1843, when he married Elizabeth Stephen. Their first child born in 1845 in IOM must have died while traveling to the U.S. Their second child born in New York in 1849 has the same name. Michael and Elizabeth settled in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, later moving to Pierce County, Wisconsin. Also with them in 1850 census for Wisconsin was his mother-in-law Jane Stephen. Would like information on Michael's family.
